On your iPhone you can easily forward your number to, for example, the number of a colleague or a general telephone number. How to forward an iPhone:

  1. Open the Settings app on your phone;
  2. Scroll down and tap on ‘Phone’;
  3. Choose ‘Divert’ and slide the switch so that the box turns green;
  4. Then tap on ‘Forward to’;
  5. Enter the telephone number to which calls should be referred;

You will now see an icon of a telephone receiver with an arrow to the right at the top. From now on, all calls you receive will be forwarded to this number. You can forward to all types of numbers. Keep in mind that people who are forwarded may not always immediately notice this. Therefore, make sure that the forwarded number informs them of this.

Are you back from vacation, or are you starting a new working day? Then it’s time to stop forwarding your iPhone. To do this, slide the green switch again so that the box turns gray.
