Tip: This way you can easily tidy up your iPhone or iPad home screen

Over time, the home screen of your iPhone or iPad fills up with apps, which can lead to chaos. In this tip, we will show you how to easily clean up your iPhone homescreen.

This way you can clean up your iPad and iPhone home screen

By default, iOS sorts your homescreen based on which apps you installed last. These apps are placed at the back of the queue, after the applications that are already on the device by default. However, as you use your iPhone or iPad and put apps in folders, for example, things can quickly turn into chaos. Even if you have moved apps between different screens, apps may remain in places where you do not want them.

Fortunately, iOS includes an option to reset your home screen to the default layout. If your iPad runs on iOS 11 or higher, your Dock will also be reset to the default setting. You do not lose apps, but they are placed in the order in which you installed them. Please note: your existing layout will be lost.
