More and more people choose to privately lease a car, but which models do they often choose? These have emerged in the Private Lease Comparator’s ten most popular private lease cars from the past month.
Buy or lease? Figures show that more and more people are opting for a private lease, whereby you can drive a brand new car for a monthly fee. Of course there are various conditions and restrictions attached to this. Via the Techzle website you can hunt for the cheapest offer with the Private Lease Comparator. But then? Will it be a Peugeot 108 or a Volkswagen Up? Or a bit bigger in the form of a Renault Clio or Ford Fiesta?
Last month, visitors in the Private Lease Comparator searched for very different cars. At the top of the list of most searched models in the Private Lease Comparator is the Volvo XC40. That does not mean that this is also the car where people most often actually enter into a contract, but the Swedish SUV is certainly the most entered in the search bar. After that, a remarkable number of Asians follow, because the second and third place are the Kia’s Stonic and Niro. The cousin of the Niro also stands out, because the Hyundai Kona is in fourth place.
Where you might expect private leasers to go for the more compact models, this list of the most popular search results proves the opposite. Only one A segmenter is in the top 10 of the past month: the Fiat 500 (place 6). Furthermore, crossovers are also popular here, because in eighth, ninth and tenth place are successively the Nissan Qashqai, the Volkswagen T-Roc and the Renault Captur. Elsewhere in the list we come across the Toyota Yaris in a neat fifth place. The Ford Focus finishes in seventh position this month.
