Top 10: Most searched private lease cars

The registrations of new cars are picking up a bit and, of course, some of them can also be attributed to new private lease contracts. But which models can count on the most popularity? Time to take a look at what was most searched for in the past month.

Buying a new car is just a bit too far for many and private leasing is an interesting alternative. Of course, there are various conditions attached to it and it may sometimes be more convenient from a financial point of view to get the stock exchange in one go. Anyway, it is a lot more accessible and with the help of the Techzle Private Lease Comparator it is even easier to make a choice. It was used extensively again last month and that provides an interesting insight into the most popular cars.

Just like last spring, the Volvo XC40 is again at the top of the list. The Swedish SUV is quite popular, but it is not the only high-legged one that people like to see what it must cost per month to drive it. In fact, the entire top three consists of SUVs / crossovers. In that respect, the entire top 10 concerns six cars. The Toyota Yaris and Fiat 500 are two notable exceptions, as they are two quite compact cars. In the past, the little ones were pre-eminently popular, but now things are different. There is also only one representative of the conventional C segment: the Ford Focus. Times change.

There are also striking shifts compared to last spring. The Kia Stonic is still in the top 10, but no longer in second (!) Place. That was so striking at the time. Now that the renewed Stonic is making its appearance at dealers, the car may climb back up. It is also noticeable that the Tesla Model 3 is back in the top 10 and that the Volkswagen T-Roc (previously in place 9) is no longer in the top 10. In fact, we don’t even find them in the 25 most searched models anymore. This popularity in our Private Lease Comparator therefore seems to have been of a very temporary nature.
