Toyota announces SEMA bangers

The SEMA Show takes place behind closed doors this year, but that doesn’t mean that fans of massive horsepower and hefty body kits and lowering sets will not get their money’s worth this year. Various car manufacturers and tuners will digitally present the latest they have to offer in the tuning world this week. Now it is Toyota that presents a bunch of modified models.

On the digital Toyota stand, the brand will have a very adventurously dressed Tacoma and three modified copies of the Supra. The Tacoma has been compiled by the editors of the American 4WD Toyota Owner Magazine and is therefore packed with accessories that should make the medium-sized pickup from Toyota even more skilled off the asphalt. The special Tacoma, based on the TRD version, is packed with a heavy set of bumpers, a snorkel, sturdy bumper work and special off-road rubber. In addition, Toyota promises that the power plant will be equipped with a supercharger. As a result, the basic 281 hp 3.5 V6 now delivers 375 hp and about 450 Nm. The Tacoma benefits, among other things, from the arrival of a water tank, an extra fuel tank and a scaffolding complete with a roof tent. Sleep well. More Tacoma fun comes in the form of a very remarkable potential new Tacoma accessory. For example, Toyota shows a video in which we see a Tacoma with a trailer made from .. Tacoma.

More SEMA fun from Toyota comes in the form of the Toyota Supra Ornamental Conifer, a Supra plastered with seemingly randomly chosen sticker work by a British artist to which no further technical changes have been made. Toyota also takes two copies of the Supra from the drift world to its digital stage and that of course produces a set of beautiful records. More interesting is the GR Supra Sport Top of which Toyota only shows a bunch of 3D design sketches. Toyota seems to be preparing a Supra with a removable roof and that would make the Supra a Targa, just like the previous model. However, it doesn’t appear that Toyota has any actual production plans for the Supra Sport Top.
