Track favorite sites in Chrome app

You can save a favorite website by making it a Bookmark. A Bookmark, also known as a Bookmark, is a link to a website. For example to a site that you visit often or a page that you do not want to forget. All Bookmarks come together in an overview. As a result, internet users open their favorite pages on the smartphone or tablet without entering the address. The site opens with a tap on the link.

Once the favorite sites are saved, there’s even more to do in the Bookmarks overview. For example, you can divide the favorite sites into folders, there is a search function in the overview and unnecessary Bookmarks are easy to delete.

Many sites saved? Use the search function in the Bookmarks overview.

  • Open the Chrome app.
  • Tap the three dots.
  • Tap on bookmarks.
  • Optionally tap Mobile bookmarks.
  • Tap on Search.
  • Type the name of the site, for example NOS.
  • Tap the Bookmark.

The site opens.

Do you want to lose a site in the overview with Bookmarks? Find it like this:

  • Open the Chrome app.
  • Tap the three dots.
  • Tap on bookmarks (or bookmarks).
  • Optionally tap Mobile bookmarks (or Mobile bookmarks).
  • Tap the magnifying glass icon.
  • Type the name of the site, for example NOS.
  • Tap the Bookmark.

The site opens.

Create multiple folders in the Bookmarks overview. Think of the ‘News’ folder, where you can use links to sites of NOS and Nu.nl, for example. Do this like this:

  • Open the Chrome app.
  • Tap the three dots.
  • Tap on bookmarks.
  • Optionally tap Mobile bookmarks.
  • Tap on New map.
  • Give the folder a name.
  • Tap at the bottom Ready.

The folder has been created.

Create a folder in the Bookmarks overview. Think of the ‘News’ folder, where you can use links to sites of NOS and Nu.nl, for example. This is how it works:

  • Open the Chrome app.
  • Tap the three dots.
  • Tap on bookmarks (or bookmarks).
  • Optionally tap Mobile bookmarks (or Mobile bookmarks).
  • Tap the three dots icon behind a Bookmark.
  • Tap on Move to.
  • Tap on Choose folder.
  • Tap on New map.
  • Give the folder a name.
  • Tap a check mark icon.

The folder has been created.

Move the saved Bookmarks to a folder like this:

  • Open the Chrome app.
  • Tap the three dots.
  • Tap on bookmarks.
  • Optionally tap Mobile bookmarks.
  • Tap on To process.
  • Tap the site you want to move.
  • Tap on More.
  • Tap on Edit bookmark.
  • Tap on folder.
  • Select the folder where the Bookmark should be, for example News.
  • Tap on Ready.

The site is now in the correct folder.

Move saved Bookmarks to a folder like this:

  • Open the Chrome app.
  • Tap the three dots.
  • Tap on bookmarks (or bookmarks).
  • Optionally tap Mobile bookmarks (or Mobile bookmarks).
  • Tap the three dots icon behind the Bookmark you want to move.
  • Tap on Move to.
  • Tap on Choose folder.
  • Select a folder.

Many sites saved? For example, put important sites at the top of the overview. Adjust the order like this:

  • Open the Chrome app.
  • Tap the three dots.
  • Tap on bookmarks.
  • Optionally tap Mobile bookmarks.
  • Tap on To process.
  • Tap the three underscores behind the folder or Bookmark and keep your finger on the screen.
  • Drag the folder or Bookmark to the correct spot and release it.

Change the order of all Bookmarks in this way.

Prioritize sites when there are many in the overview. For example, put important sites at the top.

  • Open the Chrome app.
  • Tap the three dots.
  • Tap on bookmarks (or bookmarks).
  • Tap the Bookmark and drag it up or down.

Doesn’t this way work? Then there is another method to reorder Bookmarks”

  • Open the Chrome app.
  • Tap the three dots.
  • Tap on bookmarks (or bookmarks).
  • Optionally tap Mobile bookmarks (or Mobile bookmarks).
  • Tap the three dots behind the Bookmark you want to move.
  • Tap Up or Down to move the Bookmark down or up one space.

Change the order of all Bookmarks in this way.

Tired of a particular site or map? Remove it from the Bookmarks overview. Do this like this:

  • Open the Chrome app.
  • Tap the three dots.
  • Tap on bookmarks.
  • Select if necessary Mobile bookmarks.
  • Tap at the bottom To process.
  • Tap the Bookmark or folder you want to delete. Deleting a folder also deletes the Bookmarks saved in the folder.
  • Tap on remove.

Too Many Bookmarks? Remove sites that are unimportant from the overview. Do this like this:

  • Open the Chrome app.
  • Tap the three dots.
  • Tap Bookmarks (or bookmarks).
  • Optionally tap Mobile bookmarks (or Mobile bookmarks).
  • To the right of the Bookmark you want to delete, tap a three-dot icon.
  • Tap on remove.
