If all goes well, the Top Marques supercar event will take place in Monaco in June. During this annual Valhalla for lovers of exotic models, new or old, the world will soon be introduced to the first fully electric supercar from Finland. The Tritium.
The Tritium, the first entry of the apparently quite young company Tritium Automotive, is described as “[…] the most customizable supercar in the world. “The Finns are looking forward to it, as evidenced by other acclaimed phrases such as” There has never been a car like this, and it will never be there again “and” forever unique “.
The Tritium’s design is not particularly original for such marketing-technically sounding big words. The currently available images show a supercar whose side view is very reminiscent of that of the Lamborghini Huracan and Gallardo. We wouldn’t be surprised if a picture of those two Italians hung on the wall next to the Finnish drawing board.
Tritium seems to insinuate that almost all sheet metal parts are adaptable to the taste of the customer. “You invent the car, you adapt it, you dream the car. We design it, we build it,” says the manufacturer. The Tritium is built around a space frame that is constructed from a composite of carbon fiber, among other things. According to the manufacturer, knowledge from Formula 1 has been applied and the car can be filled with splendor that you normally only find in a luxury yacht.
The electric drivetrain has a total of 680 hp. The newcomer should be able to drive about 300 kilometers on a battery charge, although Tritium keeps further specifications about the battery pack and the electric motor under its hood. We do know that the Finns will build a total of 11 copies, cars that will be sold for no less than € 1.1 million each. Top Marques therefore seems to be a great event to present the car.
