The iPhone 17 event is on Tuesday 9 September and with the arrival of new hardware we expect Apple to stop these seven products.
Apple will stop these 7 products in September
The iPhone 17 is of course the protagonist of the ‘Awe Dropping’ event. With the arrival of four new iPhones, we can expect Apple to stop selling a number of iPhones that are currently still available.
Earlier this year, Apple replaced the iPhone SE with the iPhone 16th. We expect that the new entry -level model will be updated annually, so the iPhone 16th will not disappear for the time being. Apple will probably take the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus off the market after the iPhone 17 event. These Apple products may still be available at other stores in September, but no longer at Apple itself. If this is the case, for the first time supports every iPhone that is sold by Apple Apple Intelligence.

iPhone 16 (plus) remains, iPhone 16 Pro (Max) disappears
We do expect that the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus will stay in its range, probably with a price reduction of around 100 euros. The iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air will take their place in the new line-up.
Apple, on the other hand, will no longer sell the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max take their place. Instead of reducing the price of the previous Pro models, Apple simply stops selling it.
In summary, we therefore expect that four iPhones will be taken from the market on 9 September: the iPhone 15,, ” iPhone 15 Plus,, ” iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The new iPhone line-up including suspected prices then looks like this:
- iPhone 16th From 719 euros
- iPhone 16 From 869 euros
- iPhone 16 Plus from 1019 euros
- iPhone 17 From 969 euros
- iPhone 17 Air From 1119 euros
- iPhone 17 Pro From 1279 euros
- iPhone 17 Pro Max From 1529 euros

3 Apple products will disappear in September
The other three products that will probably disappear in September are the Apple Watch Series 10,, ” Apple Watch Ultra 2 and possibly the AirPods Pro 2. Apple always replaces its series models and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 replaced the original Ultra-Watch two years ago.
The AirPods Pro 2 replaced the AirPods Pro, but the AirPods 2 and the AirPods 3 were sold at the same time until two versions of the AirPods 4 came on the market. It would be a surprise if the AirPods Pro 2 remain for sale at a lower price next to the AirPods Pro 3.
