A few more nights of sleep
It was only last week that we first saw the packed Abarth 500e. Now we know that the unveiling is near: November 22 is the time.
Earlier this year we learned that Abarth will make a sportier version of the Fiat 500e, as the Italians previously did with the conventional 500. We call that EV the Abarth 500e for convenience, although it could just be that the actual name is different. . The brand with a rich history of sporty little ones, in the run-up to the unveiling of the extra-fast 500e, is launching a teaser of it on the internet for the first time. On it we see a bright yellow color and a left front wheel with a not too large brake disc behind it. On the spy plates we could already see that the car has a different bumper and a larger rear spoiler compared to the Fiat.
On November 22, Abarth will unveil the newcomer. Whether that will be later than originally planned, we do not know. Abarth boss Olivier François previously indicated that developing an extra fast 500th proved more difficult than expected, which may have led to delays. The Fiat 500e will be on the market for three years this February. We expect the Abarth 500e to hit the market later in 2023. We will know about this – presumably as well as about the specifications of the sports enthusiast – in just under two weeks.
