All engine versions now with mild hybrid support
Volvo gives its top models S90 and V90 an update. The most important news is the introduction of a new plug-hybrid version. All engines are now also equipped with mild hybrid technology, which reduces fuel consumption by up to 12 percent.
Volvo renews the S90 and V90 with subtle exterior changes. The front bumper has a slightly different shape and the layout of the rear lights has changed. The S90 and V90 are equipped with dynamic flashing lights, whose LEDs “move” in the direction that the vehicle takes.
In the interior there are various small news. For example, the Bowers & Wilkins audio system, which is on the option list, has been updated and provided with noise cancellation. The new Advanced Air Cleaner filters the smallest fine dust particles before the air reaches the interior and there is also a new wool covering option.
The updated models are available as T6 Plug-in Hybrid. This new plug hybrid version comes under the T8 in the range and has a capacity of 340 hp. All other engines have mild hybrid support, which reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 12 percent.
Volvo will soon announce the prices of the updated S90 and V90.
