Update news: these phones receive a (security) update (week 50)

Many security patches and updates are released every week and we have listed them for you in this article. This time it’s the turn of Samsung, Poco, and Google phones, among others.

Samsung

Samsung is currently distributing various security updates to various Galaxy phones. In addition to a security update, the Galaxy A42 also receives the RAM Plus function that virtually expands the working memory. Check the function via Settings -> Device maintenance -> Memory. The Galaxy Tab S6 will also receive some visual changes via the update, according to tipster Timo. For example, the settings screen is divided into two parts, with all the parts on the left and all the functions that belong to the parts on the right.

1. Open the Settings app on your phone.
2. At the bottom, tap System > System Update.
3. View your Android security update.
