Vanderhall is best known for its three-wheeled bon vivants, but next year the American company will also launch an electric off-roader with four wheels, also in the Netherlands, with the Brawley. That Brawley doesn’t seem to remain the brand’s only four-wheeled adventurer.

AutoWeek has surfaced patent drawings of a new model from Vanderhall, although it is not yet entirely clear what we are dealing with exactly. The new Vanderhall creation visible in the drawings is a relatively compact off-roader, just like the Brawley, which it closely resembles, although there are striking differences.

Whether the still unnamed newcomer will be a variant of the Brawley or whether Vanderhall will make a completely new model of it, remains to be seen. Unlike the Brawley, the new model does not have a fixed roof that extends to the rear. Instead, the model has an open back with two seats. The adventurer seems to get a removable roof panel and has round side mirrors that, together with the grilles placed in front of the headlights and visible hinges of the doors, provide a retro atmosphere. Like the Brawley, the small crosser has large wheels on the corners of the body, round taillights and a transparent part in the doors.

The Brawley, which was initially called Navarro, was presented at the beginning of this year with four together 300 hp electric motors. There will also be an extra fierce variant that is powerful in total 404 p0k and 670 Nm. The off-roader will also be launched in the Netherlands next year, but it will not be street legal here. That means you can only shoot it in a closed area. Also a treat.
