This is how you prepare verbena tea
No matter which variety you choose – according to Netdoktor, you can prepare verbena tea as follows:
- Place a teaspoon (1.5 g) of dried verbena leaves in a paper filter or tea infuser.
- Pour a cup of boiling water over the herbs.
- Let the tea steep for about ten minutes. Then remove the tea leaves.
- Now you can drink the tea.
Tip: If you want to brew lemon verbena tea, you don’t necessarily have to use the dried leaves. Instead, simply place four fresh leaves in a teacup and pour boiling water over them.
To benefit from the health benefits of verbena tea, you should drink up to three cups daily. The tea can support your digestion, especially after eating.
