Vivo already leaves the Netherlands after 3 months

Vivo has been active in the Netherlands since July 27 with various phones in all segments, but that is coming to an end. Vivo has just informed Androidworld that it has decided to temporarily pause their market entry in the Netherlands.

Vivo in the Netherlands

So after just three months, Vivo’s activities in the Netherlands have come to an end for the time being. At the time of the announcement of the arrival in the Netherlands, Vivo indicated to Androidworld that they are modest and take a step-by-step approach to enter new markets: “We want to do our homework well, so we have waited with the arrival to the Netherlands.” The company is now temporarily suspending its Dutch activities due to general economic uncertainty. The Chinese manufacturer will focus its efforts and minimize the risks of further expansion.

Vivo is currently represented all over Europe and has managed to win over many customers and partners and achieve stable growth in recent years. Since entering the European market, vivo’s top priority has been sustainable growth that creates value for all their customers and partners. In line with our corporate philosophy ‘Benfen’ (Do the right thing, do it right) Vivo is also committed to pursuing this. In times of general economic uncertainty, this strategy means concentrating our efforts and minimizing the risks of further expansion. Therefore, vivo has decided to pause their market entry in the Netherlands for the time being. Vivo Europe continues to serve Dutch customers with after sales support and warranty repairs.
