The Volkswagen Arteon Shooting Brake makes its appearance this year. The larger version of the Arteon is a poorly kept secret and with these new photos the revelation will no longer produce any surprises.
Last summer the first hints of the arrival of a Volkswagen Arteon Shooting Brake popped up. Although it was not yet certain at that time that it was actually about the Arteon, it turned out at the start of this year that it really was. Then we already saw the Arteon Shooting Brake in its entirety, albeit in vague photos. The larger version of Volkswagens more luxurious and big brother of the Passat is now fully visible again. In these photos, which we encountered on Instagram, we see the newcomer both from the front and from the rear.

As the pictures from earlier this year already showed, the Shooting Brake on the other roofline is largely designed in the same way as the regular five-door. The front and the front and rear lighting of the Shooting Brake also show no striking new features. In terms of motorization, the model will undoubtedly also follow the well-known recipe, with a minimum of 190 hp TSI or equally strong 2.0 TDI. Whether there will also be an R version remains to be seen. We are aiming for a disclosure sometime during the year, possibly at the Paris Motor Show in September.
