The Volkswagen Nivus has partly appeared several times in a short time. A new teaser of the crossover makes more clear about the newcomer.
The already quite wide crossover range of Volkswagen could use some expansion, according to the Germans. If everything goes according to plan, the Nivus should come on the market in the course of next year. Volkswagen initially builds the car in Brazil and it is expected that the first market introduction will also take place there. Yet Europe – probably also in 2021 – may also welcome the Nivus. The production of ‘our’ Nivus is said to take place on our own continent.
In the latest teaser photo, which was spotted sharply by Motor 1 during the annual media conference of the Volkswagen Group, we get to see the Nivus a lot better. It is clear that it will be a kind of T-Cross with a sloping roofline. Not surprisingly, the Nivus rests on the same base as the T-Cross and Polo. In an earlier teaser of the Nivus, it was also somewhat visible that the interior is broadly comparable to the cockpit of the T-Cross. At the beginning of this year, Techzle had the Nivus sketched based on the images available at the time to give you an idea of what we can expect.
