The new generation Volkswagen Caddy also comes with a very compact camper version. That car no longer has Caddy Beach but will go through life as a Caddy Mini-Camper. Volkswagen now shows the first sketches of that camping edition.
The Caddy Beach version of the previous generation Caddy was on the price lists in various markets. The concept of the small camper van that has existed since 2005 will remain for a while at Volkswagen. For example, the new fifth-generation Caddy will also have a camper van, although it will now simply be called Caddy Mini-Camper.
The little brother of the orderers converted into a camper, such as the California and Grand California, has already been visualized by means of three digital drawings. The Caddy Mini-Camper will include a panoramic glass roof with a surface of 1.4 square meters. The glass panel, like the other windows, can of course be darkened, which is nice if you want to snap an owl on the barely two-meter-long bed. At the beginning of September, Volkswagen introduces the Caddy Mini-Camper to the world. Then we will undoubtedly know more about the engines with which the camping version will be available and with which smart storage options the interior of the newcomer is endowed. The Caddy international order list currently contains TDI diesel engines with 76, 102 or 122 hp.
