Summer time has started and so we can officially look forward to higher temperatures and – if it’s up to Volkswagen – fluttering crowns. The brand therefore comes with a special version of the T-Roc that listens to the name Volkswagen T-Roc Cabrio R-Line Edition Gray.
Volkswagen is getting ready for the summer by presenting a special version of the T-Roc Convertible. That action model is called the full Volkswagen T-Roc Cabrio R-Line Edition Gray, of which 999 copies will go on sale in Europe. Of these, twenty are destined for the Dutch market. But what does it have to offer?
As the type name indicates, the T-Roc Cabrio R-Line Edition Gray is based on the R-Line version. That means you get R-Line bumper work and 19-inch alloys, among other things, although it is grayer and blacker than ever. The special T-Roc Convertible is finished in the matt gray color Indium Gray Mat, while the wheels, soft top and side mirror caps are black. Just like the R-Line, the Edition Gray has separate climate control over two zones and a digital instrument panel. In addition, it gets matrix LED headlights, Travel Assist, the Discover Pro infotainment system with a 23.4-centimeter screen, an extensive Beats audio system, a reversing camera, an induction charger, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Furthermore, Keyless Entry and Side Assist are part of the Edition Gray party.
The Volkswagen T-Roc Convertible R-Line Edition Gray always has the 150 hp 1.5 TSI and a DSG automatic transmission. It costs €58,490. The regular T-Roc Cabrio R-Line with the same power source costs €50,890.
