Volkswagen is exchanging the 110 hp 1.0 TSI in various models for a stronger 116 hp model. This time it is the Volkswagen Taigo that is introduced to the upgraded three-cylinder.
In the facelifted Volkswagen T-Cross, Volkswagen installed a 116 hp variant of the 1.0 TSI. Volkswagen recently exchanged the 110 hp 1.0 TSI in the larger T-Roc for the variant increased to 116 hp. Now the 110 hp 1.0 TSI is also making way for a 116 hp three-cylinder petrol engine in the Volkswagen Taigo. The total number of engines with which the Volkswagen Taigo is available remains unchanged at three. There is both a milder and a more powerful petrol engine available in the Taigo.
As before, the delivery range of the Volkswagen Taigo starts with a 95 hp version of the 1.0 TSI. It is only available with a five-speed manual transmission and costs at least €31,990. The 116 hp 1.0 TSI is available with a six-speed manual gearbox and a DSG7 automatic transmission. The version with manual gearbox is available from €35,990, for a 116 hp Taigo with automatic transmission you will spend at least €37,990. At the top of the power ladder is the 150 hp 1.5 TSI. That machine is always connected to a DSG7 automatic transmission and is on the order lists from €44,490. More Taigo news?
