The Brazilian branch of Volkswagen is making itself heard again with a new teaser. In a few flashes, the upcoming Nivus passes by.
Volkswagen is adding a new compact crossover to its portfolio this year. The Nivus promises to be the coupĂ©-like brother of the T-Cross. The new teaser will be distributed by Volkswagen’s Brazilian PR machine, because the car is making its debut in the South American country. The Nivus is then on our agenda for next year.
Like “our” Polo and T-Cross, the Nivus uses the MQB A0 platform as a base. Based on these and previous teasers, it is clear that the new compact crossover gets many design influences from the T-Cross. The biggest difference is, as said, in the roofline, because it slopes down like a coupĂ© in a sporty way. For the first time, the inside is now also shown with a teaser. There, too, it is a celebration of recognition with a central touch screen and the well-known Volkswagen steering wheel.
We had a draftsman draw the Nivus in advance. You will find the result in this Blik to the Future.
