Volkswagen Touareg – First Introduction

Back after three years of absence

The Volkswagen Touareg has been renewed, which prompted the Dutch importer to bring Volkswagen’s largest European SUV back to the Netherlands. The facelifted Touareg is only available in the price list in our country as a plug-in hybrid. In this video we tell you more about the changes.

The current Touareg is the third generation of the SUV with that name. In 2002, Volkswagen unveiled the first Touareg, with which Volkswagen responded to the SUV trend and even surpassed sister brand Audi, which only launched the first Q7 a few years later. The Porsche Cayenne was around at about the same time as the Touareg. The second generation of the Touareg came in 2010, the current third generation saw the light of day in 2018.

From 2018 to 2020 you also found the third Volkswagen Touareg in the Dutch price lists. The arrival of the new and the expansion of the number of plug-in hybrid versions are reasons for the Dutch Volkswagen organization to bring the Touareg back to the Netherlands.

Here you can read more information about the updated Touareg, the prices of which are also known.
