Week in Review 50: Software update, Fitness+, Apple One, iPhone 17e rumors and more

Apple has released a new firmware update for the AirPods Pro 3, AirPods Pro 2nd generation and AirPods 4 series. The new version number is 8B30 and 8B28and includes bug fixes and optimizations. Previously, new features were also introduced in conjunction with software update 16, including: camera control functions, sleep detection and battery notifications.

You can read up on the Apple website a support document (Dutch) back which improvements and fixes Apple has made and/or new options have been added. The AirPods are automatically provided with the new firmware, but updating manually is unfortunately a difficult job.

From now on you can iOS 26.2 and iPadOS 26.2 download for iPhone and iPad. For Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV, macOS Tahoe 26.2, watchOS 26.2 and tvOS 26.2 are also available.
