Another update is available for WhatsApp! In the new software version, WhatsApp is being expanded with no fewer than five new functions, which you can use immediately. The update brings more features to your photos, conversations and improves the search function in WhatsApp. Are you curious about what has changed in the application? 1. Live photos
Apple introduced live photos to the iPhone in 2015. With this function, the moment is captured just before and after the photo, so that you get a moving picture. Live Photos has been available on the iPhone for ten years now and finally comes to WhatsApp with the new software version. After installing the update you can share live photos via WhatsApp, so that you are no longer dependent on messages or AirDrop for sharing the moving images.
2. Making chat themes with AI
Meta AI has since been rolled out in WhatsApp and has a new function. In the latest version of WhatsApp you can make chat themes using artificial intelligence. You can choose from an infinite number of themes, because you can compile them yourself with Meta AI. Are you bored with your standard background in WhatsApp? - Open ‘WhatsApp’;
- Go to a conversation of your choice;
- Tap the name above the conversation;
- Choose ‘Chatthema’;
- Go to ‘background’;
- Finally, tap ‘Make AI’.
3. More sticker packages
Do you regularly send stickers via WhatsApp? Then we have good news, because more sticker packages are part of the new WhatsApp functions. This way you get access to packages with the name ‘fearless bird’ and ‘vacation’. These new stickers are immediately available. You can find them by opening the keyboard in WhatsApp and tapping the square in the writing bar. Then choose the Plus button (+) at the bottom right, the new sticker packages then appear automatically.
4. Groups search more easily
WhatsApp makes it easier to look for groups in the application. In some cases the names of group discussions are so creative that they are difficult to find. WhatsApp has now come up with a solution, because you now see all the shared group discussions with every contact person. So it is no longer necessary to remember the name of the group, as long as you know who is still in the group chat. You can find the new function as follows:
- Open ‘WhatsApp’;
- Go to a private conversation;
- Tap the name above the conversation;
- Scroll down;
- View the common groups among ‘shared groups’.
5. Camera has more effects
VideoBellen becomes more fun in the latest version of WhatsApp, because you get more backgrounds. With Meta AI you can not only make chat themes, but also create unique backgrounds for your video calls. It is also possible to add backgrounds generated by AI to photos and videos. To do this, open the camera in a WhatsApp interview, tap the magic wand and choose a background or effect
