To make such a poll with your friends, add all the restaurants where you would like to eat to a list. You do this by pressing a location longer, so that the option appears automatically. You then share this list with your friends, after which they can vote for their favorite spot.
In addition, anyone who has access to the list can add or remove restaurants themselves. When you delete a restaurant that has already been voted on, all votes will also disappear. This way everyone has the opportunity to add or remove a place where they absolutely do not want to go.
When you open such a shared list, you will see the Maps map with all locations marked. You vote with a thumbs up or down. When there is a vote, you will automatically see which place is the most popular due to the green color. You can also see who voted for what.
Lists have been possible for some time
It has long been possible to create lists of favorite destinations in Google Maps.
