Listening to music with (sun)glasses? Yes, that’s possible! These smart glasses now make it even easier to listen to Apple Music.
With these glasses you can listen to Apple Music (now even easier).
It’s been a while since Meta released their new smart glasses in collaboration with Ray-Ban. However, the Ray-Ben Meta smart glasses receive regular updates and now even have better support for Apple Music.
Ray-Ban smart glasses have built-in speakers and allow you to use the glasses as a kind of Bluetooth headset. You could already play music via Apple Music, but that was quite cumbersome. You then had to manually open the Apple Music app on your iPhone and start music. With the latest update for Meta’s smart glasses, this has become a lot easier.
To do this, you need to connect your Apple Music account to the Meta View app. After that, you no longer need the iPhone to control Apple Music. Of course, you still need to have your iPhone with you if you want to listen to music on the go.
You can then say “Hey Meta” followed by the name of a song, album, artist or playlist. This works completely hands-free while you wear the glasses. In addition, there is also a new gesture. You then have to hold the temple of the glasses for a moment and you will immediately hear a selection of recommended music from Apple Music. When you are listening to music there is also a new voice command. This allows you to ask the glasses which song you are currently hearing.
The latest update (4.0) of the Ray-Ban Meta glasses also adds WhatsApp and Messenger support to the glasses. This allows you to use the glasses as a kind of camera in those apps.
