Apple will release a number of new MacBooks during WWDC 2023. Unfortunately, they don’t get one of the long-awaited upgrades.
WWDC 2023: New MacBooks will not get this upgrade
Mark Gurman says in his most recent newsletter that Apple will introduce a number of new MacBooks during WWDC 2023. These MacBooks consist of a larger MacBook Air (at 15 inches), an improved 13-inch MacBook Air and a new 13-inch MacBook Pro.
No M3 chip for new MacBooks
After the good news, the usually reliable Apple connoisseur came up with less fun. According to him, these new MacBooks will probably not get a new M3 chip. Instead, they stick to the M2 chips. Unfortunately, it is not yet known which variant that will be exactly.
More revelations at WWDC 2023
This year the conference will take place from 5 to 9 June. During these days there will be updates for your Mac, iPad, Apple TV and iPhone. You can also expect the following updates: watchOS 10, iPadOS 17, tvOS 17 and macOS 14.
The new Macbooks will not be the most important update during WWDC 2023, according to Mark Gurman, but he gives that honor to watchOS 10. He said the next version of the operating system for the Apple Watch will get “more improvements” and a “new interface”. Unfortunately, the usually reliable Apple connoisseur gave no further information.
Another important reveal that we will get during WWDC 2023 is iOS 17. Apple has not yet announced what will be included in the next update for your iPhone. Yet there are several rumors that manage to lift a corner of the veil.
The update is mainly focused on performance, speed and stability. But there are also quite a few new features coming in iOS 17. Do you want to know which one? Then read the article below!
