You can read this in AutoWeek 1

Techzle 1, the first edition of 2021, will be in stores from tomorrow, time to review what you can expect this week in our packed magazine.

The new year has begun and that means that you can get Techzle 1 of 2021 on the mat or buy it in the store this week. We start the year well right away, with the first driving test of a very important car. The Ford Mustang Mach-E is coming to the Netherlands soon and Techzle was already on the road with it. The first Ford model, developed entirely as an electric car, has a somewhat loaded name. Does he have enough in him to wear the Mustang badge?

Ford Mustang Mach-E

An SUV that listens to the Mustang name is already quite special, but the same goes of course for an SUV from Aston Martin. The British hope to boost sales numbers considerably with the DBX. Given the financial situation of the brand, that cannot hurt at all. In any case, the DBX already looks nice and striking and promises the driving experience that you can expect from an Aston Martin to combine with the advantages of an SUV. Editor-in-chief Damiaan Hage had the honor of finding out whether the brand hits the mark with the DBX.

Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport

There is more spectacle in the form of the Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport. The car that should be perfect for those who find a normal GTI just too little to offer, but who find an R to go a bit too far. From the outside it is almost impossible to tell that it is a Clubsport. A modest approach from Volkswagen, however, whether the Clubsport proves its addition once you get in, Michiel Willebrands looked for one of the most beautiful parts of the road on the Veluwe.

You do not have to worry that Techzle 1 will only consider the more expensive offer at the moment. There is also extensive attention for two compact cars that almost seem like each other’s opposites. The Kia Rio and the Citroën C3. The former is pretty no-nonsense, while the Citroën – as we know it from the brand – is pretty idiosyncratic. Which approach works best?

The C3 is not the only Citroen that can prove itself this week. An older and larger Citroën is examined in Klokje Rond. The C5 Touring of Peter van der Schouw has a very nice mileage: almost 4 tons is on the clock. Funnily enough, all those kilometers were covered with the thickest engine, but again on LPG. Why this choice and is there even more life in it for the coming period? Joep finds out.

This and more can all be read in the latest Techzle, which will be in stores this week from Wednesday. Would you rather not go out? Order from the easy chair the latest number. Then he will arrive on the doormat within two working days.
