With the month of July on the calendar, we have also started a new week. It is high time to see what is in the latest Techzle this week.
Tests and reports
On the website, the Volkswagen ID.3 – how could it be otherwise – released a lot of tongues, but it also demands all the attention in the magazine. Cornelis Kit makes the first kilometers in the production version of Volkswagens new ‘pioneer’. Are the expectations too high? In addition to the first driving test of the ID.3, Techzle 33 also includes two double tests. Thanks to a new mild hybrid powertrain, the Suzuki Swift Sport remains one of the cheapest semi-athletes available new. It is therefore considerably cheaper than a thoroughbred Fiesta ST, but you have an ST Line for a similar amount. Which one will it win? In another test, Jan Lemkes parks the new Audi A3 next to its biggest competitor: the Mercedes-Benz A-class. Can the Ingolstadt person overthrow the Stuttgart hatchback?
We also steer with the updated Cupra Ateca and explore rugged terrain with Ford’s new Explorer. In the third episode of ‘De Dijk’, Sandor van Es sends the Toyota Corolla GR between the Maas and the Waal: from Ravenstein to De Biesbosch. Frank Jacobs does the same trick, but with our endurance tester, the Nissan Juke. In one day he drives from Moscow to Denmark and via England to Rome: 24,210 km in one day. How is that possible? Read it in Techzle 32.
Occasions
Due to the amount of tests, Nic de Boert will have less space this week for stories about used cars. Fortunately, he makes good use of the space as Chef Occasions and takes two Britons by the hand: a Mini Cooper S JCW that is parked on the roller bench and a real Rolls-Royce at Blits Bezit. Few cars exude the feeling of pure wealth like the Rolls-Royce Corniche does. Up close, from afar, outside and inside: the Rolls exudes confidence, success and luxury. The proud owner tells everything about this!
All this and more can be read in the latest Techzle. Prefer not to go? Order from the easy chair the latest number. Then it will arrive on the doormat within two working days.
