Fortunately, the heat has not stopped us from releasing a brand new Techzle. In it, two renewed Germans show themselves and a colorful group from all over the world meets each other during a trio test. This and more in Techzle 33!
Tests
In Start, we elaborate on the upcoming Dacia Spring, the first EV from Dacia that also promises to be the cheapest electric car in Europe. After an analysis of last month’s sales figures, three SUVs stare at you: the Citroën C5 Aircross, Kia Sportage and Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. There was a time when the Sportage had it all to itself and that did not do Kia any harm. In recent years, however, the mid-size SUV has received increasing opposition. Will the Sportage keep up with the competition?
Furthermore, two German superpowers are making themselves heard: both the 5-series and E-class have been renewed and with that renewed duo we are making the first meters. BMW sends us on the road with the revised 540i xDrive, while at BMW we are introduced to the diesel hybrid E 300de. However, it is not only new cars that pass in review, because in an occasion double test we put a used e-Golf (2018) next to a Hyundai Ioniq Electric from the same year. Is that still something, such an EV after two years?
Reports
In a striking report we speak with Jos. Together with a friend, he organizes group tours where everyone gets on an iconic UAZ Buchanka and then crosses it all over Kyrgyzstan. In a second report we take a closer look at the ever increasing blind spot due to stricter safety requirements. To top it all off, Occasion man Nic de Boer sends a Toyota GT86 onto the Roller Bench.
All this and more can be read in the latest Techzle. Prefer not to go? Order from the easy chair the latest number. Then it will arrive on the doormat within two working days.
