A new week also means a new Techzle. Number 34 of this year again. It is packed with reborn legendary sports enthusiasts and crossovers. You can expect all of this.
Tests
As indicated above, various crack noses will be reviewed this week. Marc Klaver, for example, makes the first test kilometers in the brand new Volkswagen Golf GTI and we steer with prototypes of the BMW M3 and M4. The latter two are good for 480 hp and a lot of fun. To compensate for all this brutal violence, Roy makes his first lap in the brand new Toyota Yaris. Perhaps a little less exciting, but just as interesting!
For a trio test, we submitted a test request to Ssangyong: the new Tivoli can prove itself against the Skoda Kamiq and Suzuki Vitara. Is the Dutch bpm the only problem of the SsangYong, or is there more behind the low sales?
Reports
For some extra nostalgia, we take the world’s most famous delivery van: the first Volkswagen Transporter. In a new episode of ‘Old and New’ it becomes clear whether the current Transporter still shares any genes with its iconic ancestor. We will also discuss plug-in hybrids with Volvo, travel to Zeeland for a new ‘De Dijk’ and meet Sergey Petrov, who turned the Russian car dealer network upside down. Nic gets a Nissan Skyline at his disposal for the first time. Not to drive around for a spin, but to park it on the roller bench!
All this and more can be read in the latest Techzle. Prefer not to go? Order from the easy chair the latest number. Then it will arrive on the doormat within two working days
