You can read this in AutoWeek 45

Techzle 45 will be in the shops from tomorrow, time to review what you can expect this week in our packed magazine.

Two sporty stars are put to the test in Techzle 45, starting with the Cupra Leon. Although we really should see Cupra as a separate brand, that is of course a bit difficult with the Leon. In contrast to, for example, the Cupra Formentor, this is a model known as a Seat that, as a top sporty version, is suddenly from Cupra. Of course we are very curious what the new Spanish hot hatch has to offer! Another car – which will undoubtedly attract a much smaller group to the showroom, but is no less tasty for that – is the Lexus LC 500 Convertible, a four-seater convertible with great power.

There is also attention for two larger sedans that have entered their second phase of life: the Volvo S90 and the Mercedes-Benz E-class. More than ever, Volvo is firing on the established German order, but whether it now has enough to do? Cornelis Kit figured it out. Quite a few steps lower in the automotive spectrum we find three that are completely contemporary thanks to a hybrid powertrain: the Toyota Yaris, Renault Clio and Honda Jazz. Partly electric propulsion is also on the rise in the B segment. Is hybrid driving still something for which you are at the best address with the Japanese?

Ultima Can Am

Just like last week, you have to do without a Klokje Rond inspection on the occasion pages, but you again get a great story in return. Last week there was the ‘Beating Heart’ about a Mercedes-Benz 190 with a V12, this week the above Ultima Can Am shines in ‘Blits Bezit’. It is a car that you can just come across on public roads in the Netherlands, even though it seems more appropriate on the track. For many, the absolute stunner of Techzle 45 will be the return of the ‘Barrelbrigade’. In this issue, the editors participating in this edition reveal which car they’ve chosen!

This and more can all be read in the latest Techzle, which will be in stores this week from Wednesday. Would you rather not go out? Order from the easy chair the latest number. Then it will arrive on the doormat within two working days.
