You can read this in AutoWeek 49

Techzle 49 will be in the shops from tomorrow, so time to read what you can expect this week in our packed magazine.

The arrival of the retro Fiat 500 was big news almost 14 years ago. Not without reason; the classically designed compact Fiat could well be a resounding success and it turned out to be. Whether that also applies to the brand new electric 500 remains to be seen of course. It is all the more important car and therefore many will undoubtedly be curious about how it drives. This week you can read it in Techzle 49.

Also electric, but of a completely different order, are the Audi E-tron Sportback and the Jaguar I-Pace, which compete against each other in a doubles test this week. They are no longer the latest, but the development has not stood still for both models. So let’s see how the relationships are now compared to the last time we had them opposed to each other. Another car that has undergone a thorough overhaul is the Opel Crossland. Not only is the X now out of the name, the car also has a completely redesigned nose. Jan Lemkes will find out for you whether there is more change to be detected and whether the compact crossover is really fresh again.

Another car that is not completely new, but in a way it is: the Volkswagen Arteon Shooting Brake. With the facelift of the Arteon, Volkswagen added this new variant, which should make the striking D-segmenter even more attractive to a wider audience. Perhaps you think the Shooting Brake is a wonderful addition, but whether it really has a lot of added value? Marco Gorter figured it out.

Barrel brigade

We are still in the middle of the 2020 edition of the Barrelbrigade and this week Stéphan, Nic and Frank will visit people with a much neater copy with their barrel. You can even say that we are dealing with enthusiasts. Undoubtedly, the barrels still give them the necessary furrowed eyebrows, because of course those are not the most beautiful specimens you will encounter. Yet they have less experience than the Mercedes-AMG S63 that shines this week in Klokje Rond. A luxury powerhouse only two years old with over three tons on the counter! Then of course we want to know how it went so fast and how the car fares after two tropical years.

Mercedes-AMG S 63 Around the clock

All this and more can be read in the latest Techzle, which will be in stores this week from Wednesday. Would you rather not go out? Order from the easy chair the newest number and it will be delivered to the door within two working days.
