Techzle 50 will be in the shops from tomorrow, time to read what you can expect this week in our packed magazine.
There is a lot of Toyota news this week and that is striking, because in Techzle 50 you can read how the new Mirai is like. A car that with its fuel cell still belongs to a select club, but has become a lot more accessible. An even more accessible electric car is the new Citroën C4. Although it is in a sense the spiritual successor of C4 Cactus, the emphasis has shifted even more to comfort and the electric powertrain is of course new. A golden hold of the French?

Do not think that all attention in Techzle 50 is focused on fully electric cars, because there are also two huge executioners of SUVs that still get most of their power from fuel engines. The Audi Q7 55 TFSI e quattro and Range Rover Sport P400e do receive support from an electric motor, which ensures that they are quite contemporary again. Time to see if the British or the Germans have done their homework the best in that regard.

Who says you can’t put old and new cars against each other in a double test? Two sporty Fords from completely different times provide a good picture of how the development of the brand has gone in the sporting field. A thick middle class and a B-segmenter from completely different times secretly have more in common than you might think. In another double test, we focus a bit more on times gone by. The Audi Cabriolet and Saab 900 Cabriolet can still count on a lot of love in their old days, especially from their owners. They never want to get rid of it.

After all, this week it is time for perhaps the nicest part of the Barrelbrigade; the ‘monster tour’. Nic, Stéphan and Frank have set an ambitious travel goal: Poland. Due to the current situation in the world and the challenge that such a trip entails for the barrels, it is a good thing that Poland is a lot closer than you might think!
All this and more can be read in the latest Techzle, which will be in stores this week from Wednesday. Would you rather not go out? Order from the easy chair the latest number. Then it will arrive on the doormat within two working days.
