You can read this in AutoWeek 7

Techzle 7 will be in the shops from tomorrow or on your doorstep this week. What are you reading this week in our packed magazine?

The winter weather is over and the last remnants of snow are melting away. Luckily we still have the photos, shall we say. In the case of Techzle 7, this is quite literally the case. Roy Kleijwegt defied the winter weather with our Seat Leon endurance tester. It resulted in spectacular pictures.

Volkswagen ID.4 vs. Kia e-Niro

Still, it is better for car testing if the weather is more cooperative. Fortunately, that was the case when we put the Volkswagen ID4 and the Kia e-Niro against each other. The Kia has proven to still be a strong choice if you are looking for an electric car. So strong, in fact, that the newer Volkswagen ID3 is no match for it. We found out whether its big brother ID4 is.

Other relevant electrical news comes in the form of a new version of the Porsche Taycan. This nameless variant is now the entry-level model and has only rear-wheel drive. Of course it makes a significant difference in price and the range is even the best of all Taycans. Is this then suddenly the most interesting option, or do you give up noticeably a lot in terms of driving pleasure?

Those who prefer to keep it all a bit more modest in terms of budget, can choose to buy a not too expensive car and drive it up completely. Willem van Duren went for that approach. He bought a Peugeot 206 1.4 XS in 2001 and still drives it. The Peugeot is now 554,000 km further. Quite an achievement in itself, but it becomes even more special when we discover that he has never replaced the timing belt. He waits for it to break and then it is time for a new car. Special.

Furthermore, there is attention for a BMW M235i from 2014 that can prove whether its delicious six-cylinder still has all the horsepower it once left the factory with. We also consider two very special Opels. The Kadett and Calibra taken over by Günter Artz. At least, the cars are actually only worthy of those names in appearance. There is something very special going on under the skin. One is a Chevrolet Corvette, the other a Lotus. Of course we want to know more about that!

This and more can all be read in the latest Techzle, which will be in stores this week from Wednesday. Would you rather not go out? Order from the easy chair the latest number. Then it will be delivered to your door within two working days.
