The Chinese Zeekr appears to have mastered the art of gradually unveiling a new model. It will officially launch the Zeekr 007 in its entirety this week, but before then, the brand will release more images of its Model 3 competitor. This time the interior is on display.

At the beginning of this month we wrote about the Zeekr 007 for the first time. The Zeekr 007 will be an electric sedan from Volvo’s sister brand Zeekr. For the time being, you only know Zeekr from the 001 and X and perhaps from the electric MPV 009, of which Volvo also sells a derivative with the EM90. The Zeekr 007 will not only be the brand’s first low model and first sedan, but also the first car to have a truly unique exterior design without elements from Lynk & Co. We have already shown you the exterior of the car several times and now we also have the first pictures of the interior. AutoWeek also delved into the database of the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. We extracted additional images and the first technical specifications of the Zeekr 007.

In terms of design and style, the interior of the Zeekr 007 fits in well with the workplace of the 001 and The situation in the back of the 007 is striking. There is a huge curved glass roof section directly above the rear passengers. The legroom in the back seems quite spacious based on the interior panels.

AutoWeek can report that the Zeekr 007 will be 4.87 meters long, 1.9 meters wide and 1.45 meters low. This makes it about 18 centimeters longer than a Tesla Model 3, but also 3 centimeters shorter than a BYD Seal and 9 centimeters shorter than a Volkswagen ID7. The wheelbase is quite large at 2.92 meters. The Zeekr 007 therefore has 1 centimeter more between the front and rear axle than the longer Seal.

We also know that the Zeekr 007 weighs at least 2,150 kilos. We also know that there will be a very strong four-wheel drive version with a 224 hp electric motor on the front axle and a 421 hp unit on the rear axle. There will also be a rear-wheel drive variant with only the 421 hp electric motor on the rear axle.

Nothing is officially known yet about its arrival in the Netherlands, but given Geely’s ambitions it certainly does not seem impossible that the Zeekr 007 will also have Dutch asphalt under its wheels.
