According to previous rumors, Apple has no fewer than three Apple Watch models in store for this year. In addition to the Apple Watch Series 8, there will be a budget-friendly Apple Watch SE and a sturdier model with a robust housing, aimed at practitioners of extreme sports.

Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech goes into his most recent video on the design of the new Apple Watch. According to several rumors, the design will really change this time and the Apple Watch Series 8 will have a flat screen.

Last year, Prosser already thought that the Apple Watch Series 7 would get a flat screen, but he did say that the new glass may only come with the Apple Watch Series 8. He cites a tweet from ShrimpApplePro in his most recent video. This states that the screen of the Apple Watch Series 8 will become flatter.

ShrimpApplePro has previously published rumors on Twitter, including about the two holes that (instead of the notch) will come with the iPhone 14 Pro.

Deferred Features

There have also been rumors for some time that the Apple Watch will get sensors to measure your blood pressure or your blood sugar level, but these are not yet included in the Apple Watch Series 8.

According to reliable Mark Gurman, the blood pressure sensor will not be available until 2024 at the earliest. The sensor for monitoring blood sugar is also a few years away. Apple would not have a specific year in mind for this.
