Apple has released iOS 15.1.1 and iPadOS 15.1.1. The latest update is available for all iPhones and iPads that support iOS 15.
Install iOS 15.1.1 and iPadOS 15.1.1
Apple is rolling out iOS 15.1.1 and iPadOS 15.1.1. The only change Apple mentions is improving call dropouts on iPhone 13 and iPhone 12 models. The update is also expected to fix other minor issues that are not explicitly mentioned. Usually, with each update, Apple improves the overall stability of the software. So update soon!
- Make sure your iPhone or iPad battery is at least 50 percent full, or hang it on the charger;
- Go to the Settings app and tap “General”;
- Choose ‘Software Update’ and follow the instructions on the screen.
Your iPhone or iPad will then download the new software. Do you not see the update yet, or is the download very slow? Which can. Just after Apple releases new software versions, a lot of people try to download the updates. This creates a digital queue.

The main new feature of iOS 15.1 is SharePlay. This should have been in the first version of iOS 15, but due to problems during the beta phase, SharePlay was postponed.
The feature is intended to collectively consume different types of media, although you are not in close proximity to each other. SharePlay is baked into FaceTime. If you start a FaceTime call and then listen to a song in Apple Music, you get the option to SharePlay the music.
The iPhone 13 Pro (Max) also gets some innovations for the camera with iOS 15.1. For example, you can turn off the automatic macro mode and you have the option to record ProRes videos. This new video format shines with less compression, giving you more extensive editing options afterwards.
