With Dirigera, IKEA is launching a new Home Smart hub that allows you to control your smart devices with the updated Home Smart app.
IKEA recently introduced the Dirigera hub. This allows you to easily group products into scenes, so that, for example, when the alarm goes off in the morning, the lights also switch on and the curtains open slowly. This is how you create routines that suit you. The new hub – with Matter connectivity* – can handle more product groups and link more products than the existing IKEA TRÅDFRI hub. The Dirigera hub is now available in IKEA stores and via IKEA.nl.
Direct your home
Imagine being able to set your ideal morning routine via an app. While you wake up to your favorite music, the curtains slowly open and the lighting dims. The air is cleansed and the smell of freshly brewed coffee enters your bedroom. With the updated IKEA Home Smart app, you can connect smart devices to each other via the Dirigera hub and create automated moments and routines that suit you. The hub works with Matter connectivity, which in the future will allow the hub to connect not only to smart IKEA products, but also to smart products from other manufacturers.

Smart curtains
To make your house a smarter home, IKEA is constantly expanding the Home Smart range. Earlier this year, the Swedish furniture store introduced two smart pleated blinds, which you can now also connect to the Dirigera hub. For example, you can operate and set the curtains via the Home Smart app and link them to other devices, such as an alarm clock. The roller blinds are available in a blackout – TREDANSEN – and a translucent – PRAKTLYSING – version and can also be operated separately with a remote control.
