When you start the computer, Windows can play a melody. Even if an error message appears, the PC will make an announcement. These sounds can be changed or turned off.
Enter ‘system sound’ as a search term via the search button and click on Change system sounds. Click below Program events: indicate a program event in the window and indicate via the pull-down menu which sound should be played, or ‘none’ if you do not wish to receive a sound notification.

With a mouse click To test you can test the selected sound. Set everything the way you want it and activate your settings with OK.
