The options in Edge are comparable to Chrome.
Here too, open a new tab and click on the gear icon at the top right. click on Edit background to set a custom wallpaper. For example, this could be a video background that rotates daily, or you can upload your own image via the button Image upload.
You can also opt for Manage theme and select one of the fifteen available themes.
