Apple accepted the invitation for the iPhone 14 event sent! It will take place on September 7 at 7 PM Dutch time. We went looking for hints hidden in the invitation to the iPhone 14 event!
iPhone 14 event: Far out
We see the Apple logo made up of stars with the text ‘Far out’. That literally means ‘Far’ and figuratively ‘Exceptional’. We list for you what this may indicate.
1. iPhone 14 Pro camera
‘Far out’ may refer to the camera of the new iPhone 14 Pro. It has a 48-megapixel wide-angle sensor. In addition, in low light, the camera would combine neighboring pixels into a 12-megapixel image. The possibilities for extreme digital zoom are greatly increased with this ‘exceptional’ camera.
2. Astrophotography
The iPhone 14 Pro will probably also get an astrophotography feature, something that has been around for some time on Pixel and Samsung devices. The 48-megapixel camera will certainly help with that. Thanks to smart algorithms, combined with digital zoom, you can now take beautiful photos of the stars and the moon. We think this is one of the clues in the invitation to the iPhone 14 event.
3. Reality VR Glasses
Another possibility is that Apple introduces its very first virtual reality glasses, the Apple Reality VR glasses. There have been rumors about it for years. Perhaps the space theme is a hint to the announcement of these exceptional space glasses and the accompanying operating system RealityOS.
4. Satellite connection
The space theme may also have to do with satellite connections. That’s something that was announced before, but hasn’t been implemented yet. There are rumors that the feature will appear in the iPhone 14. For example, iOS 16 also adds an ‘SOS’ icon, which appears when you are not connected to the mobile network.
5. Apple Watch Pro
In addition to the iPhone 14, we expect Apple to also announce Apple Watch Pro. This new version will have a bigger screen, a different design, and will be made of a stronger material – probably titanium. Possibly the space theme is a reference to the use of this alien-looking material.
6. AirPods Pro 2
Finally, Apple will probably also announce the new AirPods Pro 2. The biggest innovation is the support for lossless audio. ‘Far out’ in this case can therefore refer to the ‘exceptional’ sound quality of the AirPods Pro 2.
