WWDC 2023: MacBook Air with 15 inch screen

According to reliable Apple expert Mark Gurman, we will see the MacBook Air with a 15-inch screen for the first time during WWDC 2023. That’s what Gurman says in this month’s newsletter.

“MacBook Air with 15 inch screen is coming (during WWDC)”

The first rumors said that this MacBook Air was going to get a brand new M3 chip, but that doesn’t seem to be true. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, we will be told during WWDC that the MacBook Air with 15-inch screen has an M2 chip. According to the rumors, no further innovations are expected on the outside of the MacBook Air.

Don’t want to wait? This is a great alternative

Aren’t you waiting for a bigger screen? Then it doesn’t really make much sense to go for the MacBook Air 15-inch. The MacBook Air 2022 with a 13-inch screen and M2 chip is (probably) just as fast.

The most recent MacBook Air (13 inch) was unveiled at WWDC last year. This MacBook has been given a completely new design that is very thin when viewed from every angle. It’s just 11.3mm thick and weighs just 1.2kg, with a sturdy aluminum body. In brief:

  • 13.6-inch screen with notch
  • New, more angular design with four different colours
  • Improved 1080p camera
  • Liquid Retina display
  • M2 processor
  • Colors: Space Gray, Silver, Midnight, and Starlight

The suggested retail price of this MacBook Air 2022 is 1519 euros, but it has already been considerably discounted, as you can see in our price comparison.
