A handy trick now changes that, because then you can finally turn off all alarms directly on your iPhone. You no longer have to turn off all switches separately. That saves some work in the morning, so waking up is just that little bit nicer. We explain how to put the new function on your iPhone!
This way, you can turn off all alarm clocks at once
A handy shortcut has been created that you can add to Apple’s Assignments app. Running the shortcut will automatically turn off all alarms on your iPhone via Shortcuts. To put the new function on your phone, you must have Apple’s Assignments app installed. The app is available for free in the App Store:
Have you installed Assignments? Or did you already have the app on your iPhone? Then go through the following steps so that you can turn off all your alarms on your iPhone at once!
- Download the shortcut from this link;
- Open ‘Assignments’ on your iPhone;
- Go to ‘All Assignments’;
- Choose the three dots at ‘Toggle Off All Alarms’;
- Tap the right arrow next to “Repeat item Off”;
- Finally, turn off the switch behind ‘Show on run’.
By turning off the switch behind ‘Show on run’, you don’t have to approve every alarm that disables the shortcut. To run the shortcut, simply tap the task in the Assignments app. This way you can immediately turn off all alarms on your iPhone!
Don’t always want to open Assignments to use the shortcut? Then add a widget with the shortcut to your home screen, so that you can use the function immediately when you are awake. Here we explain how to put a widget on your home screen from iOS 14 and newer.
