Petrol or diesel, electric will follow later
Ford is bombarding the commercial vehicle market this year not only with the electric E-Transit Custom, but also with the smaller Transit Courier. AutoWeek can also tell you the prices of that new van.
The Ford Transit Courier and passenger car version Tourneo Courier are the smallest models of Ford’s commercial vehicles in the Netherlands. He now has to tolerate the Transit/Tourneo Connect, the Transit/Tourneo Custom and the even larger vans simply called Transit, which are now based on the Volkswagen Caddy. Now we know what the Ford Transit Courier should cost in the Netherlands.
The Ford Transit Courier is available from €17,850. Please note that this does not include VAT. After all, it is a company car. For just under 18 grand you get the Ford Transit Courier with a 100 hp 1.0 Ecoboost petrol engine and a six-speed manual gearbox. It is only available in Trend version. Above this is the Transit Courier with a 125 hp 1.0 Ecoboost and a seven-speed automatic transmission. It has always been designed as Limited and is available in the order books from €22,125.
Would you prefer a diesel engine? That is also possible. Ford also supplies the Transit Courier with a 100 hp, 1.5 liter self-igniter. This version always has a six-speed manual transmission and is available as Trend and Limited from €18,850 and €20,250 respectively.
The Transit Courier will later also be available with an electric powertrain. Passenger car version Tourneo Courier is only available as an electric E-Tourneo Courier. Prices for both variants will follow later.
