Transit Custom Kombi as PHEV and EV also on the price list
Even before Ford itself releases the prices of the electric Ford E-Tourneo Custom, AutoWeek can tell you what the new electric passenger bus should cost. We also have the first prizes for the commercial vehicle versions of the electric Ford.
Ford Transit Custom van can already be ordered with diesel engines and, like the Tourneo Custom passenger car version, also has an electric drivetrain. AutoWeek can tell you the first prices of both the electric E-Transit Custom and the E-Tourneo Custom. We start with the prices of the Ford E-Tourneo Custom, which is, after all, a passenger car on paper.
Ford E-Tourneo Custom: the passenger car version of the Transit Custom.
The Ford E-Tourneo Custom has a 64 kWh battery pack and an electric range of up to 370 kilometers. For the time being, the passenger car version always has a 136 hp electric motor. The E-Tourneo Custom has a fiscal starting price in the Netherlands – therefore excluding preparation costs – of €55,540. All amounts in this article are exclusive of VAT. For that amount you can drive the E-Tourneo Custom L1H1 in Titanium version. As a more lavishly equipped Titanium X, the E-Tourneo Custom L1H1 costs €60,040. The longer E-Tourneo Custom L2H1 is also available as Titanium and Titanium X. They cost €56,440 and €60,490 respectively.
E-Transit Custom
Transit Custom van is also available with an electric drivetrain. The electric E-Transit Custom is also available in two lengths, but is also available as a Double Cab and with three different electric powertrains. Each E-Transit Custom has a 64 kWh battery and, like the E-Tourneo Custom, it is available with a 136 hp electric motor, although you can also get it with 218 hp and 286 hp.
Ford E-Transit Custom.
The Ford E-Transit Custom L1H1 with a 136 hp electric heart is available as a Trend from €46,320 (excluding VAT). For the E-Transit Custom in the same configuration, but in length L2H1, you will pay €47,220. It is also available as a Limited.
Would you prefer an E-Transit Custom with a 218 hp electric motor? Of course that’s also possible. Then count on a fiscal entry price of €49,340. Then you get the L1H1 version that is designed as Limited. It is also available as Sport. For the longer E-Transit Custom with 218 hp as a longer L2H1 you will spend at least €50,240.
The most powerful Ford E-Transit Custom – the one with a 286 hp electric motor – is only available as a sporty MS-RT. The L1h1 version costs €60,720. For the longer L2H1 variant you pay at least €61,620.
Transit Custom Kombi
The third and final variant of the Transit/Tourneo Custom that we discuss is the Kombi. This is the commercial vehicle version as a passenger bus, more or less a simpler Tourneo Custom that can be used as a shuttle bus, for example. We have the prices of both the electric variant and the plug-in hybrid of the Ford Transit Custom Kombi.
The EV party starts with the Ford Transit Custom Kombi from €49,220. That amount is for the L1H1 variant in Trend version. The electric Transit Custom Kombi is currently only available with a 136 hp electric motor. It is also available as a Limited and as a longer L2H1. For the 225 hp plug-in hybrid Ford Transit Custom Kombi PHEV you will spend at least €42,520. For that amount you also get the L1H1 variant in Trend gear.
