Apple will introduce a new Apple Watch during the upcoming event. Rumors tell us that a lot remains the same with the smartwatch. But the Apple Watch Series 9 does get a new feature!
Apple Watch Series 9 gets new feature
The rumors seem to agree and all say that much remains the same with the Apple Watch Series 9. Yet Bloomberg says that something will change with the Apple Watch Series 9, but mainly under the hood.

This year there will be two new versions of the Apple Watch Series 9. This will probably be a 41 mm and a 45 mm version. There will also be an Apple Watch Ultra 2 (again 49 mm).
It therefore appears that these smartwatches will look a lot like the previous generation and a truly new design will not be available until 2024. According to rumors, there will be some new colors, for example pink for the Apple Watch Series 9.
According to Gurman, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 will also come in a black color this year. Then you at least have more choice when you go for the Ultra smartwatch. The first version was only available in gray.
New sensors and improvements
However, according to the latest rumors, there will also be a cool new feature for the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2. According to reliable Apple expert Mark Gurman, both models will receive upgrades for the sensors and improved parts.
According to several reports, this will include a new heart rate sensor. At the moment the exact details are still unclear, but Bloomberg says that the new sensor is a lot more accurate.
U2 chip for Apple Watch
In addition, the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 will receive the new U2 chip. This new chip brings improvements to ‘Find My’. This is the same chip that is also rumored to be in the iPhone 15.
