The year is almost over for Apple, which means it’s time to look ahead. Which products can you expect from Apple in 2024? We put them together for you.
High expectations for Apple in 2024
This year we saw many new products from Apple. The iPhone 15 series was released, we saw no fewer than two generations of the MacBook Pro and a new HomePod was introduced. Additionally, the long-awaited Apple Vision Pro was unveiled but not yet released. That’s one of the Apple products we’ll see in 2024. We have listed all your expectations for next year for you!
1.Apple Vision Pro
Apple finally presented Vision Pro in June. The company’s first headset is extremely advanced with two 4K micro-LED screens, an M2 and R1 chip and twelve cameras. The Vision Pro runs on visionOS, a completely new operating system for the spatial computer. Apple unveiled the headset in 2023, but we will have to wait until 2024 for its release.
The Vision Pro will finally appear in stores next year, making 2024 an important year for Apple. This is the first time since the release of the Apple Watch that a new Apple product has been released. It remains to be seen whether the Vision Pro will also come to Europe in 2024, because the glasses will initially only be released in the United States. Europe may not follow until 2025.
2. iPhone 16
Of course, a new iPhone will also be released next year, and Apple will release the iPhone 16 in 2024. The ‘normal’ iPhone will get the action button next year, which we already see on the iPhone 15 Pro (Max). The iPhone 16 Pro will actually get a new button, which is reportedly called the ‘Capture Button’. And that is not the only change, because the iPhone 16 series will have much larger displays.
This makes the iPhone 16 Pro Max the largest iPhone we have ever seen. If that phone will be available, because there are rumors that Apple is replacing the iPhone 16 Pro Max with the iPhone 16 Ultra. 3. AirPods Max 2
We actually expected the AirPods Max 2 this year, but Apple has again not released any new headphones. The first generation of the AirPods Max was released in 2020, so it is high time for a successor. The first version of the luxury headphones was already good, but has now been overtaken by the competition. That’s why Apple’s first headphones are in need of a major update.
The new version of the AirPods Max will have a USB-C connection and (hopefully) different controls. Now with headphones you are limited to the Digital Crown, which we already know from the Apple Watch. Apple may expand the AirPods Max 2 in 2024 touch controls. This allows you to adjust the volume or skip to a different song by simply swiping or tapping the headphones.
4. iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad mini and iPad 2024
Apple is expected to release as many as four new iPads in 2024, as no new models have been released at all in 2023. This is striking, because Apple has released a new generation every year since the introduction of the iPad in 2010. That changed in 2023, because we had to do without new iPads this year.
Expectations are therefore high for 2024. It is quite possible that Apple will update all iPads next year, meaning we will see a new generation of the iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad mini and ‘normal’ iPad. 5.Apple Watch
Apple will celebrate an anniversary in 2024, when the tenth generation of the Apple Watch will be released. The Watch also gets a new health function, as Apple provides the device with sensors to measure your blood pressure. Apple will release new Macs and AirPods in 2024
We can therefore expect a series of new products from Apple in 2024. It is also expected that Apple will also release new MacBooks next year and that new AirPods will appear. The AirPods 4 are reportedly getting cool new features, including noise cancellation. So you don’t have to buy AirPods Pro next year if you noise cancelling want.
Accessories such as the Magic Mouse and the Magic Keyboard will also be updated next year and will be equipped with a USB-C connection.
