There are more and more reports of hacked Apple Watches. Now a video has also appeared. Has this Apple Watch really been hacked?
Has this Apple Watch been hacked (or not)
A video recently emerged showing an Apple Watch that appears to have been ‘hacked’ remotely. The video shows that ‘something’ is typing random numbers in order to guess the access code. This method of trying to gain access is also called ‘Brute Force’.
It could be a possibility that the Apple Watch has been hacked. Yet we think something else is going on. It is probably a software problem or there is a problem with the touch screen.
It is interesting that the last few days on the Apple forum even though there have been several posts from users with the same problem.

Other users have also previously indicated that they suffer from so-called ‘Ghost Touches’. Here too, it seemed as if the Apple Watch was typing something on its own. According to a internal memo that Apple sent to Apple Authorized Service Providers, the company is aware of the problem.
According to Apple, these ‘Ghost Touches’ may cause the screen of the affected Apple Watch Series 9 or Ultra 2 to jump irregularly. Other unexpected behavior without the user taking any action is also possible.
Therefore, the Apple Watch in the video above will probably not have been hacked, but also have this software problem. Apple’s solution is that you have to force restart the Apple Watch. You do this by pressing the digital crown and the side button at the same time for at least ten seconds until the Apple logo appears.
