Each version of the iPhone 17 is rumored to get a long-awaited upgrade. Here’s what’s going to change.
iPhone 17 gets an upgrade we’ve been waiting for for a long time
According to Apple analyst Jeff Pu, each of the four iPhone 17 models will receive an interesting upgrade. The front camera of each device will be a lot better. It will go from 12 megapixels to 24 megapixels.
Pu shared some more info, as he also said which iPhones will get the upgrade. These are the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Plus, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. It is not known whether there will be an iPhone 17 Plus, or whether we might get an iPhone 17 Air or Ultra later.
Also usually reliable Apple expert Ming-Chi Kuo has said that at least one of the iPhone 17 models will get a 24-megapixel front-facing camera. According to Kuo, this will “significantly improve” the image quality. With multiple sources now confirming this rumor, the new selfie camera seems almost certain to come.
The new upgrade for the iPhone 17 lets you take better selfies and even after cropping the photo, you still have a decent quality left. Also, the lens of the new camera in the iPhone 17 consists of more components, which can further improve the image quality.
