iPhone 16 research shows bigger is better

According to a study, the larger screen is one of the reasons Apple fans want to buy the iPhone 16. But why else?

iPhone 16 research shows that bigger is better

In a research of the Sellcell website it can be read that 62 percent of iPhone owners want to upgrade to the iPhone 16. The research states that 62.1 percent of men want a larger iPhone. For women, that is 47.8 percent. This means that the vast majority of potential iPhone 16 buyers want a larger iPhone.

However, we should add a caveat. The larger screen will not be one of the most important considerations for buying an iPhone 16. The price, thermal design, AI features and a faster chip are more important reasons to switch, according to the research.

The survey was conducted among 2,000 potential iPhone buyers, 1,000 of whom were men and 1,000 of whom were women.

This will be the iPhone 16 (with larger screen)

The iPhone 16 will be released in September and for the first time in years, the devices will have different sizes. In 2023, the iPhone 15 already got screen edges that are much thinner, but the screen size was not adjusted. This is the case with the iPhone 16 Pro, because Apple makes the housing of the Pro models a bit bigger. With the iPhone 16 (6.1 inch) and the iPhone 16 Plus (6.7 inch), Apple does keep the same dimensions.

According to new rumors, the iPhone 16 Pro will get a larger display of 6.3 inches, up from 6.1 inches on the iPhone 15 Pro. The iPhone 16 Pro Max will get a 6.9-inch display, up from 6.7 inches on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. This makes the iPhone 16 Apple’s first phone to come in four different sizes. That’s not all, because the iPhone 16 will get screen bezels that are even thinner.
